Okay… so I know we’re already about halfway through June, but hear me out… I’m a teacher and my school gets out way late, so I’ve been up to my eyeballs in grading and putting out fires (mostly metaphorical ones) for the last few weeks. I only just had the brain power and time to sit down and write about my May favorites, and I’m so sad that it’s so late, but I do love these items and I really think they’re worth sharing.

You know how much I love Amazon, and as usual, they came through for me. I’ve listed my summer haul of affordable finds that I can’t wait to wear all summer long. To see my full try on and get my detailed take on each piece, see my IGTV post!
Today I’m celebrating by making Irish soda bread and corned beef with cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and onions (I’m trying out the Instant Pot for this year’s Irish feast!), and an apple spice cake with whisky sauce for dessert. Of course, I’m also celebrating by wearing a little bit of green.
Before I start making a mess of my kitchen and outfit, I wanted to share my St. Patrick’s Day look.
Last week I posted my February Favorites, and it included a picture of me wearing one of my absolute favorite pair of boots. I didn’t link them but I got a handful of messages and comments about them on Instagram, so I wanted to do so now. I’ve also rounded up some other potential runners-up for my boots. You can shop them here!
By now I’m sure you all know by know that I’m addicted to online shopping, so I’ve decided to start doing a monthly round up of some of my favorite items, complete with links.
I get a lot of compliments on my shoes, and no one can ever believe that I get most of them on Amazon! Not all of my Amazon shoe purchases have been winners, but I’ve rounded up my favorite Amazon boots under $35 (complete with links).
I typically don’t buy a ton of holiday-specific clothing because I like being able to rewear and restyle my clothes year-round. One of the reasons I love the clothes in today’s post is because these pieces are budget friendly, perfect for Valentine’s Day, and have tons of year-round potential.
