Let’s be honest, fruit salad is boring. Most of the time, it’s not even salad… it’s just chopped up fruit thrown in a bowl. So when my dad visited for Father’s Day a few years ago and said he was cutting back carbs and requested a fruit salad with his Father’s Day brunch, I wanted to find a way to zhuzh it up a little. What I came up with was this sweet, citrusy, minty dressing that took my fruit salad from a sad salad to an exciting side.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you can absolutely have apple pie for breakfast. My Apple Pie Cinnamon Roll is the love child of one of my favorite desserts and a favorite breakfast treat. It’s one part fluffy cinnamon roll, one part Dutch apple pie, and all mouthwateringly delicious.
