Happy St. Paddy’s Day!
I love this maintenance holiday so much. I get to embrace my Irish heritage (my great-great grandparents came from Ireland and settled here, so cheers to Irish pride and to the refugees who enrich our country and culture), and I get to eat some of my favorite foods and wear green, which I really don’t wear enough if I ‘m being honest.
Note to all gingers – wear more greens and blues! ๐๐
Today I’m celebrating by making Irish soda bread and corned beef with cabbage, potatoes, carrots, and onions (I’m trying out the Instant Pot for this year’s Irish feast!), and an apple spice cake with whisky sauce for dessert. Of course, I’m also celebrating by wearing a little bit of green.
Before I start making a mess of my kitchen and outfit, I wanted to share my St. Patrick’s Day look:

Green Crop Top // Black Midi Skirt // Lace Up Flats
Although I bought the skirt last month on Amazon, the exact skirt I’m wearing is sold out, so I’ve linked another one that is the same price and quite possibly cuter than the one I’m wearing… let’s just say it’s been added to my shopping cart…
The top is from a store that is sadly no longer around. I loved Shop Sosie, but they went out of business over a year ago, and I snagged this cute lacy crop before they shut down for good. I linked another crop that I think is gorgeous and will be complimented by the skirt I linked. If you don’t care for it, Lulu’s also has some beautiful options.
Before I sign off and start preparing our Irish dinner, I just want to acknowledge Chris’ part in dressing me today! His eye for style is on point, and when I couldn’t make up my mind this morning, he helped me decide which skirt and shoesย to wear(no easy feat, since I’m kind of a shoe addict). I just wanted to mention that because seriously, how cute is that, and how lucky am I?!? Must be that luck of the Irish!
